  1. I was wondering if it could be the Amy Gutmann but it doesn't say. If anyone gets an email specifically about the AG scholarship and doesn't mind sharing that'd be awesome- just to know if recipients have already been notified
  2. I didn't see that you had to apply for financial aid before knowing if you were accepted or not. None of the other schools I applied to were like that. So I didn't fill out any forms except for FAFSA. abut Im not worried because I would like to think most of those deadlines are arbitrary anyways. I'd send an email to the fin aid office and see what you can do.
  3. This wasn't a Q for me but I also got into the CNM track & here is verbatim what they said in the acceptance letter: “(…)would like to congratulate you on your acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing Accelerated BSN/MSN Program in the Nurse-Midwifery specialty beginning in August 2023.”
  4. Thank you for sharing. Personally, I don't buy the phishing thing. The email was sent from the official admissions email, [email protected] Hopefully we'll find out soon. I wasn't antsy before but the false alarm got me.
  5. Same, I tried calling but nobody picked up. If anyone finds the link please let us know where you found it!
  6. I'd join if someone wants to make it
  7. @ftrnursniq3 Congratulations! Hopefully no news just means they haven't decided yet.
  8. I just got word back from admissions and was offered acceptance, does anyone know if admissions lets you know about the Conway scholarship (if you got it) in the same email?
  9. I’ll post on here when I hear back as well ?
  10. I’ve heard nothing. Anxiously awaiting word!!
  11. Here’s hoping they’ll actually give interviews. As for other applications, I’ve applied to Emory & Penn. Got into Emory, still waiting to hear from Penn. I’m also going to apply to VCU’s ABSN.
  12. For sure, I hope more people chime in. This is my first time applying! My background is in public health/perinatal quality collaboratives. I am also working part time at a hospital as a CNA and I have about 3 years of experience as a CNA. I recently graduated from a 4-year institution with a BS in bio and a 3.96 GPA. I’m very interested in midwifery and peds. What about you?
  13. I'm applying! I don't think a single grade is enough to take you out of consideration. If your overall GPA is good, you'll probably be fine. I think recommendations and your essay count a lot.
  14. I applied. That sucks if it's true about no interviews. Happy to see that the Conway Scholarship program was renewed with more funding, though.
  15. From their FAQ: Applicants that apply by the priority deadline of October 15th, notification is in mid- January; applicants that apply for the regular deadline of December 1st, notification is in mid-March.
  16. I honestly haven't thought about the application since I submitted-- I have a "leave it to fate" kind of mindset about this process. I'm still working on apps for other schools. Anyone applying anywhere else?
  17. Hi! I just submitted my application last week. My background is in public health / perinatal quality collaboratives. It seems like we’re all interested in CNM so far.
