    I'm currently applying around for BSN programs in Texas, my top choice being UTHealth Cizik. I am nervous that I am not a competitive applicant and want to try my best to get into this school. My overall GPA is 3.8 and my science GPA is 3.65, HESI score is a 87.1 (Lowest score is 80 in A&P) and I have about a year of CNA experience in a Med/Surg unit. I felt pretty confident about my application until I read about others suggesting a 90+ on the HESI. I need opinions on whether I should retake my HESI and aim for a score in the mid-90s? Also, does anybody have any insight on how the selection process actually works? I've heard some say that it is a lottery style admission process.
