  1. California BRN Call Back

    CTolen posted a topic in General Nursing
    I called the California BRN this morning and was placed in a queue for callbacks. Couple of hours later, I received a call back from the same BRN's phone number with automated message first saying "you are receiving a call from the Board of Registered Nursing"...the rep then asked for my Social Security right off the bat. Is this legit? Anyone been asked this before when getting call back from BRN? You can imagine my hesitation. The rep stated this is the only way to look up my information. Had it been another phone number on caller ID, it would be a different story. ??‍♀️ I just thought it was very odd and fishy this is the "only" way to look up my profile.
