  1. Apologies! I thought this was another ABSN thread.
  2. If you search these forums for Sam merritt you can see many disgruntled students that are complaining about them doing away with preceptorship and instead adding simulations and the option to pay more for certificates. Tuition is going up for less services. See screenshot for info about TEAS
  3. I'm feeling a bit ambivalent about going to SM given that they are extending all of their deadlines. I also noticed that they updated their admission policy to not require the TEAS or the HESI. This coupled with their tuition increase and lack of preceptorship makes me concerned that BRN is going to re-evaluate the program and place it on probation or revoke their accreditation status. Anyone else have thoughts about this?
  4. I agree with your sentiment, I feel they extended applications so they could receive more applicants. It doesn't make any sense the other way around. I have been lurking, mostly, because I don't feel that there is any point of speculating if we are going to get in or not. It just gives me anxiety ?
  5. Ahh, I applied for Sacramento/San Mateo, so I won't hear back until end of June. It seems so close to the start of school! Unfortunately, because they won't provide provisional acceptance until then, I won't be eligible to apply for the Nurse Corps scholarship, which is a big bummer.
  6. Hi! I am finalizing my application for Fall 2023. Which campus(es) did you apply to?
  7. I am also looking for this information! I am freaking out after seeing the posts from @coffeebeans and @AlmostNurse90 stating that they are no longer offering preceptorship and I'm considering not applying at all, now.
