NYC New Grad Programs
Hey, Same! I'm searching everywhere to see when MSKCC opens up. I was under the impression that most people individually searched hospitals. However, this would be very helpful.

Mercy University ABSN Summer 2023
I compared the program requirement to other and Mercy seems a tad bit harder to excel. The minimum grade required for all nursing course is B-. If you score lower in any class, you're at risk of failing out the program. Is this correct? If anyone knows any info about this, please update me. I received my Acceptance today. So happy!

Felician University - Summer 2023 On Ground
I was accepted in November. I also was considering several school (Mercy, CMSV, NYU, StonyBrook, etc). It was alot of pros/cons to consider for all the different programs. I was waiting to explore everything and research before committing to a program. I want to pay tuition every semester, instead of paying everything upfront.

Felician University - Summer 2023 On Ground
I was able to find information from FB Group and the Felician Nursing on facebook. I read the ABSN catalog to get a more detailed idea of what to expect. I compared this with Mercy College and College of Mount Saint Vincent. From my knowledge, Felician is a accredited nursing program and has a Masters programs for Nursing. I currently work in a hospital. And my Job has Felician on the accreditation list. I heard mixed reviews about the Hybrid, which I why I opted for Summer-On Ground 2023. The curriculum for the Hybrid is almost impossible for me. It doesn’t look doable, unless you have Nursing background or really good memorizing skills. Each semester requires 5-6 classes in as little as 14 weeks. That’s insane! I’m sure there will be weekly test for each course. You can view the curriculum on Felician ABSN. For the 18 Month on ground, you are only taking 4 classes per semester Aka 16 weeks. That seems more do-able for me. Let me know if you found any info as well

Felician University - Summer 2023 On Ground
I saw a TikTok posting of a Felician Nursinhg student graduation ceremony. My job is affiliated so I’m not worried about the accreditation but more about the comment on Google reviews and the post I saw on all nurses. The graduation ceremony looks large, that’s hope that students are graduating. I just am hesitant about starting because I don’t want a program that unorganized and doesn’t stick the preparing students for NCLEX. hopefully we get more comments on the thread. here’s the link https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTR461ENm/

Did you connect with any other future classmates? I’ve been trying to discuss the school with others. I see mixed reviews on Allnurses, and opted for On-Ground for stability & more study time. Even though 18Months seems long to me. I even looked at the curriculum to get a feel of what to expect.
