  1. Hello, I took and passed the SCRN in 2020. I used the resources available through AANN/ABNN (the self-paced review videos, the textbook and the practice tests). I'm a member so that helped cut the cost a little bit. I also used "Stroke Certification Study Guide for Nurses" textbook by Kathy Morrison (link below) which included over 300 practice questions, accessible online or via an app, which made studying while at work or laying on the couch very easy. The practice questions are grouped by category and you have the ability to practice each category one at a time or combine categories you choose to create custom tests. The app also offered great feedback on which areas you need more practice. Hope that helps! Good luck ? https://www.springerpub.com/stroke-certification-study-guide-for-nurses-9780826119636.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIh_C7iczb-QIVsMLCBB0sHg8mEAMYASAAEgINzvD_BwE
  2. Hi @Dstall21 @irving024 @Snp, I saw that the 3 of you were admitted to UCSF's AGACNP program starting this fall... First off, congratulations! ? Second, I was curious if you would be willing to share any details about your application? It is hard to find admission information about UCSF's "ideal AGACNP candidate" and I would like to know how my resume compares to those admitted. I plan to apply this coming year for a Fall 2023 start. I will share some of my details... I have been working as a Critical Care RN in the Bay Area since 2015. I have SCRN, CCRN, & TNCC credentials (plus the standard ACLS, BLS, NIHSS). I have Charge RN and Rapid Response RN experience. I received my BSN from a Bay Area program and graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.66. I have a previous BS in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the CSU system. I am happy to share other details or chat if you would like! Thank you ?
