  1. When do you start the Navada US constitution class. I am trying to find one. I know Roseman requires that class and it has to be done by the last block (or maybe sooner).
  2. So I asked about relocation to the Vegas location and it would mean takking another prerequisite specific to nevada. Anyone take the Nevada course? Who is startthe Fall?
  3. Worse case scenario, you take it in AZ or UT(assuming UT gets full state approval for their program, they are new too). If you need to get your license in NV, then you apply by endorsement for NV RN state license with your AZ or UT license, which my cousin did after going to a different school out of state.
  4. Has anyone gone through their hybrid BSN program in Utah? Or even still in it? What was your experience and how was Lab and the clinical scheduling? Was it doable working full-time?
  5. Any 2023 hopefuls for either campus? I will be applying for Spring start.
  6. I also want to add that the program is fully accredited by CCNE, but the state is provisional approval to teach the program in the state. If the provisional approval is pulled while in the program, you would have to take the NCLEX in another state that accepts GCUs ABSN curriculum.
  7. I signed up a few days ago, but have not started yet. Looks like the labs are videos with note taking. I will update once I start 8n a few weeks. They give 6 months to start, 12 months to finish and it is self paced.
  8. You will be OK. One of the following 2 cohorts will have to maintain the 80% pass rate on the NCLEX. The state of Nevada gives 2 years of testing to the school, not from the start of the first program, but from when the first cohort takes the NCLEX. If you look at Arizona's pass rates for the ABSN campuses they are at 100%. BUT they did have a lot of people drop the program which may have been the program weeding out people who will most likely not pass.
  9. Thought I'd start a thread for Grand Canyon University ABSN 2023 potentials. I am currently finishing up Applied Nutrition through study.com and will be taking Microbiology. After that I have Christian Worldview and Applied Pathophysiology. Hope to knock all these out and the HESI so I can start the core nursing classes in Spring or Summer 2023. Anyone else in the same boat?
  10. My advisor said we can't take Pathophysiology through study.com since it is different than Applied Pathophysiology. You can take Applied Nutrition and Microbiology w/lab through study.com though. Applied Pathophysiology you can take through Portage Learning. Have you taken Nutrition and Micro yet? I am working on Nutrition right now on study.com and nervous about taking Micro.
