  1. was the accuplacer hard?
  2. Wow that's coming up fast. I just need to transfer all my GE's too. Have you figured out where you're going for clinicals? Because I know they place people everywhere
  3. Thank you for letting me know!
  4. Oh yea I saw your post forum on dominican! Did you start during the Spring? And have you spoke with an advisor?
  5. Hi everyone! I am also an MA, I applied to couple of BSN programs in the bay area & of course got denied. How does anyone like nightingale BSN program?
  6. Can we accept the 21k and wait until Spring application then?
  7. Honestly I wouldn't even know what to major in while I wait for Spring LOLOL. I don't know what to dooo hahaha
  8. it's alright, I feel bummed out too. But honestly I just really think it's difficult to get in especially in the fall (when high schoolers graduate). The Spring time may have more openings and it doesn't hurt to try again!
  9. has anybody applied to Unitek?
  10. like I don't get it LOL. it's for fall too I only applied USF and Dominican, so ill try again I suppose LOL
  11. dang. I got denied too with 21k scholarship and undeclared major
  12. OMG same!! I couldn't sleep last night either! Just imagine if all of us got in, im glad I joined this forum hahah it's okay, I also got rejected from USF LOL that's so unfortunate and you work with the nursing student :(
  13. He said sometime today but not sure what time. Also I asked about the math placement update he said it might be a glitch in the system
  14. I spoke with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) today and he said we will getting decisions by email or portal.
  15. I think the only update I had was about the math placement thing, but I have taken intro to stats. Did anyone get that on their portal?
  16. same, no updates. good luck everyone!
  17. @cyncin ahhh okay. I took both, A&P 1 (5 credits) and the other was also 5 credits.
  18. @cyncin btw, is it anatomy and physiology 1 that's accepted or both? A&P 1 and A&P 2? It's a little different in Washington.
  19. @cyncin oh yes I bet!! All good grades and experience seems like it doesn't matter. I'm also apart of an honor society too! And hopefully they aren't generating applicants at random... the ADN programs I totally understand because there are more than 400 applicants. But hopefully we know soon, because it does make me sad that there's only a few spots available. We need more nurses!
  20. Hi all! After reading all your comments I feel so discouraged! I am also a transfer from Seattle, and to hear they are only accepting 15 transfer student is so unfortunate. I already got denied by USF 3 times for fall 2022, (which I heard its extremely hard to get into!) but hoping to get into Dominican because it's more smaller. Do you know how they calculate GPA's? Do they look at your overall classes? I've taken courses at two sister schools and another for organic chem. Preq's 3.9 cumulative: I think 3.7 or 3.8 (but this is what I'm confused about, I've taken so many different classes that aren't on the preqs because the requirements for Seattle is way different) I submitted only 1 letter of recommendation ( I didn't know you can submit more too LOL) And have 9 years experience as a medical assistant. I don't know, it's super hard to get into nursing school but honestly hoping the best of you all!
