Dominican University CA Fall 2022 Application Cycle
it's alright, I feel bummed out too. But honestly I just really think it's difficult to get in especially in the fall (when high schoolers graduate). The Spring time may have more openings and it doesn't hurt to try again!

Dominican University CA Fall 2022 Application Cycle
@cyncin btw, is it anatomy and physiology 1 that's accepted or both? A&P 1 and A&P 2? It's a little different in Washington.

Dominican University CA Fall 2022 Application Cycle
@cyncin oh yes I bet!! All good grades and experience seems like it doesn't matter. I'm also apart of an honor society too! And hopefully they aren't generating applicants at random... the ADN programs I totally understand because there are more than 400 applicants. But hopefully we know soon, because it does make me sad that there's only a few spots available. We need more nurses!

Dominican University CA Fall 2022 Application Cycle
Hi all! After reading all your comments I feel so discouraged! I am also a transfer from Seattle, and to hear they are only accepting 15 transfer student is so unfortunate. I already got denied by USF 3 times for fall 2022, (which I heard its extremely hard to get into!) but hoping to get into Dominican because it's more smaller. Do you know how they calculate GPA's? Do they look at your overall classes? I've taken courses at two sister schools and another for organic chem. Preq's 3.9 cumulative: I think 3.7 or 3.8 (but this is what I'm confused about, I've taken so many different classes that aren't on the preqs because the requirements for Seattle is way different) I submitted only 1 letter of recommendation ( I didn't know you can submit more too LOL) And have 9 years experience as a medical assistant. I don't know, it's super hard to get into nursing school but honestly hoping the best of you all!
