  1. Looking for organizations with MICU/PACU

    iwoomaip posted a topic in Oregon Nursing
    Moving to Portland, OR this year and beginning to look/apply for positions. Looking for insight into specific hospitals and specialty units. I have 4 years nursing experience in med/surg, 1 year ICU experience in a medical ICU (MICU). Looking to specifically either transfer into another MICU, step-down/progressive care, or a non-pediatric PACU. Based on what I have been able to investigate online: OHSU MICU PACU (some pediatrics) Legacy Good sam: Combined M/SICU PACU (unsure if pediatric bays are included) Emanuel: Neuro/trauma ICU. Unclear whether they have a medical ICU at this campus as well? PACU (some pediatrics) Providence Unsure whether they have a specific medical ICU or PACU Kaiser Unable to transfer here d/t 2 year experience requirement for either specialty I am looking to transfer into. Anyone with experience at these organizations, or has some insight into specific units/structure of the organization, I would greatly appreciate your insight. Thank you!
