Hi - this is my first post on here, nice to meet you all! ? I recently got my temporary RN license from CA BON. I thought it’d be a good idea to get this while waiting for my endorsement RN application to come through because I’ve heard that they can take a very long time . I have been applying for CA jobs from out of state, but I came across a post saying that CA temp license is pointless. So now that got me questioning everything….I feel quite lost at the moment. Does having a temporary license put my applications at a disadvantage? Will hiring departments even consider my application at all? If that’s the case, Is there anyway that I can get a job in CA without a permanent license? If you’re from CA or have been through a similar experience, I would really appreciate your insight on this. It’s been a frustrating process with the CA BON. Thank you in advance for your help!
