  1. Congrats! I don’t think we’ll get our schedule until August. From what I see online, it appears as though 2 days a week plus clinical. I’m not sure if that includes lab, so it may be 2-3 days, plus clinical. I’m anxiously awaiting our schedule as well. ?
  2. Hi Lina, I think the campus at MCPHS is modern and well equipped. I also like the in person curriculum. I think this will be helpful when studying to become a nurse. I was a bit concerned about all the online classes at Northeastern. Everyone I have interacted with at MCPHS has been professional and so helpful. Overall, MCPHS seems really organized and made me feel welcome. I think it’s a great school and hopefully a good fit for me. Good luck in your decision. :-)
  3. Thank you for your comment and I’m so sorry you’re not happy with Northeastern. I’ve decided to go to MCPHS and I am really excited! I hope your last semester goes better and at least you’re close to being done. :-) Thanks again!
  4. Hello, I’d love some feedback from anyone that has attended either program. I’ve been accepted to both and trying to decide between programs. I would be attending the MCPHS Manchester campus. Both appear pretty similar in terms of clinical hours and classes. Thanks!
  5. I'm not sure about internal candidates. I was external and I received an email that I had an update in my portal. When I logged into the portal, I saw the decision. Maybe you could reach out to the internal contact? It sounds like it's a bit more personalized than external. Good luck! ?
  6. LOL. They seem really organized and welcoming. I’m going to the Manchester, NH campus. I haven’t heard back from NEU, but I’m leaning toward MCPHS. Let me know if you end up applying.
  7. Yes, MCPHS is mostly in person. There is one class online, although it seems that may go back to in person. The schedule looks like 2 days in person. Their clinical hours over the course of the program are over 600. Much more compared to UMass Boston. Which campus are you looking into? They’re rolling admissions and they are sending out decisions in about a week. Hope that helps. I can’t believe I didn’t get in, disappointing, but maybe we’ll both find a program we like more ?
  8. I didn’t either. Oh well. Good luck to you! Did you apply elsewhere?
  9. Same here! I haven't heard anything either or seen anything change in the portal. I was accepted at MCPHS, so I'm hoping we hear soon about UMass.
  10. I haven’t heard anything and I also don’t see a change in my status. It still says they look forward to reviewing my application. I thought they said we should hear beginning or mid-June. I’m hoping for earlier.. :-)
  11. Thanks! Best of luck to you as well!
  12. Hello! I plan to apply to UMass Boston as well. I’m finishing up my last prerequisite this week and plan to apply on Friday. The deadline is May 1st, right? I hadn’t heard of a priority deadline. I’m also planning on applying to Northeastern. Are you applying anywhere else?
