80 Points is great! MJC has a great nursing program, not sure how far you want to drive. This was my first time applying to MJC nursing program in February and I was just notified on Wednesday that a spot opened up for fall! The cutoff points was 81 and I had 80. I accepted the spot and I start in 2weeks!

The Nursing application for Spring 2023 at Stanislaus State Turlock is open and will close on August 31st.

Has anyone taken the new version of the TEAS 7? If so, is there fill in the blanks and mark all that apply? I remember someone saying this on this chat and I have also herd it from a friend.

80% is awesome! I got 76 on my TEAS test version 6. I will apply with 73.5 points at delta. The point system is so much different than MJC. I had applied with 80 points at MJC in February.

I was hoping to get into MJC this year, but I was off by one point for the cutoff (I live in Modesto). Merced College and Modesto Junior College have great nursing programs! At this point if I don't get into Delta for this application period, I will apply to Delta, MJC, and Merced next year.

I did not know that the new TEAS 7 test has fill in the blank and select all that apply. This is going to make it harder than version 6 test!

Did you apply to any other nursing programs this year? Stan state also opens up their application in August.

I have a 4.0 for the required courses to apply, but I scored a 76 on my TEAS version 6 (I did it in February). I will be working on my CNA license in the fall (won't help me in the points for this application period). I will be applying in the low 70s. I plan to take the new version of the TEAS in December if I don't get in this application period, and hopefully I will score higher. I wish you guys the best of luck!

I emailed the health department and they stated that the application period will open up mid to late August. I will also be applying, I have not done my points. I just became a delta student, and I am waiting to speak with a counselor. Does anyone know if your transcripts from other schools need to be evaluated before you can apply? (I went to MJC) I applied to MJC in February and did not get in, I had 80 points and the cut off was 81points.

Congratulations! I still have not received an email from MJC, I will call again on Monday. (I checked my school email and personal email and nothing). Do you mind me asking how many points you had for MJC.
