Hi all! I wanted to start a topic for the July 2022 UCSD residency program applications since they close today! My first choice unit is ICU & I will graduate in early May. Good luck everyone!

Yes, a classmate of mine got an offer.

I heard through the grapevine that there have been ICU offers. I have not personally heard back so I don't have any further detail.

I'm anxiously waiting to hear back from them as well!

I had both behavioral questions ('tell me about a time when...') and scenario questions ('XYZ is happening with your patient, what do you do?')

Also got the forwarded to hiring manager message for LJ

I got the "self-identify" email today, not sure if that's a good thing or if everyone gets it!

I know many people have already interview & received offers, but I just got an interview invite from Grossmont today. So if you're still waiting, don't lose hope! Seems like different facilities/units are working on very different timelines.

Got a voicemail offering an interview today! I wasn't able to get back in touch w/ them yet so I'm unsure of the unit but my 1st choice was ICU.

my portal updated, now instead of just the "new grad residency" application there is a second application showing for Grossmont SICU. Both status are under consideration.

Can I also ask if you already have your RN or NCLEX date? And is it for Memorial? Thank you ?

@DeeDawg So it seems like they are changing the application process & haven't updated the website yet. As far as I know in previous cycles the openings for each unit were posted individually and you just had to keep checking because not everythin...
