I thought it went pretty well overall! The SRNAs and 3 faculty members that interviewed me were all very personable and welcoming. The interview itself was more laid back than I expected, definitely a few questions that caught me off guard. They also never asked me "Why CRNA?" which I thought was interesting! November can't come soon enough. How about for everyone else?

Hi everyone! I have not come across a forum dedicated to applicants for the DNP Nurse Anesthesia program for the University of Minnesota starting the Fall of 2023. I submitted my application and I wanted to create a space for other aspiring applicants to communicate and motivate each other! Good luck to everyone!

Congrats and good luck to everyone who received one!! Have the invites been sent out on a rolling basis in the past or where does this knowledge come from? Not sure my anxiety can handle waiting any longer ?

For those who have gotten your interview invites - which campus are these for?

Every time I get an email notification from this forum I freak out a little, hoping someone magically heard something early. LOL. Patience!! Preparing so much for an interview that very well might not even happen is quite the experience. I'm trying to keep my expectations at a good balance ? In the mean time, I hope you all are doing okay within your units. Burn out is so real right now, despite COVID numbers dropping. I think of all my fellow nurses daily!

Seeing VCU's email pop up in my inbox made my heart drop. LOL. I wish I had a clue what the large volume of applicants looks like in comparison to past years... crazy! Anxiety is setting in!

Submitted today! I'm a first time applicant so not getting my hopes up a ton, but was encouraged to apply by some current SRNA's so we will see how this process goes. ? Good luck to everyone here! Did anyone have any issues with bugging your references to submit?!
