I know it’s upsetting, I was in the same boat! I still applied to floor positions and I got an offer at Harris Fort Worth! I’m taking it as learning opportunity and then it will be easier to transition to a critical care floor!

I applied to ED, I got an interview but unfortunately did not get the job. I also applied to ICU and NICU; however, I did not get an interview because it was “first come first serve” so, I am on a waiting list for those! what about you?

Hey y'all! I'm making this thread to see if anyone has heard back from the Nurse Residency at Baylor Scott and White in the DFW area. I interviewed with the ED last week, but I have not heard back. Has anyone heard anything from them?

Hey guys, I also got a rejection email. It is upsetting, however, we always have the possibility to transfer there once we have more experience as nurses. There are also so many other great nurse residencies to look for! I was talking to a nurse, and she was telling me that it is better to start by working with adults and then switching to peds because it allows us to get a better nursing foundation! Best of luck to everyone on all other applications!

I called HR this morning to see if there were any updates. They told me that the snow caused delays, and to wait until the middle of next week. If we don't get a phone call by then, we should keep our eyes out for an email stating that we were not selected. I hope we hear something soon!
