Hi everyone! I recently graduated from the VANAP program with a 3.77 GPA.
My application: 1st BS cumulative GPA- 3.5, 1 year clinical experience
As you can see, my GPA wasn’t that high. Additionally, although I had clinical experience when I applied, many people in my cohort did not have any, so this may or may not help your application. Perhaps my personal statements helped boost my app, but I cannot say for sure.
If you do get in, make sure you take philosophy, ethics, and theology prior to starting your first semester or else you will have to take these at a higher tuition cost at USFCA.
I would agree that the tuition costs are extremely high ~120k. Therefore, please do not make this program your only option as I feel there are better, more cost effective programs out there.
Finally, I honestly did not enjoy my time in this program as I felt that this was a rigorous self-teach program, faculty and staff were not very supportive, and we did not have the same resources as the main campus. However these are my experiences and other students may feel differently.
Let me know if you have additional questions and good luck with your applications!
