  1. Hey! Any teachers for NUR102 that are good and I should keep an eye out for ?
  2. Hey everyone! I wanted to get on here and ask anyone if they knows the schedule of the nursing program. I have fulfilled all general education classes within the curriculum, but I was wondering if anyone knew when the class “fundamentals of nursing for registered nurses, NUR102” takes place. Is it everyday? How long is it? Stuff like that. I am just trying to get an idea of what my schedule will look like, as I work a full time job, and need to see how work will interfere with this program. Thank you!
  3. Grant was not my first choice and I heard by email! I’m currently on vacation so this was the best news.
  4. Same to you !! Our hardwork paid off!!
  5. Yup ! Got mine , I was accepted into grant !
  6. Thanks so much! I’m still kind of new to the nursing world/medical field so it’s great to hear from someone who been through all the same stuff. ? I also saw your previous post about rubric and TEAS scores and it made me feel alittle better. At the end of the day it’s all a waiting game, and I just have to keep telling myself all my hardwork will pay off! April is a big month for me as this is when I will hear back from suffolk, and my best friend comes home from the Marines! Let’s just say April can’t come quick enough ? thanks again,
  7. Yes! Thank you so much, this makes me feel a lot better. Now it just leaves me waiting for April! Fingers crossed.
  8. Hey guys! I've been super nervous about my acceptance into the program but I am just happy that I passed the TEAS with over an 80 so that I can get Advanced for the rubric, I know @Jlauren96 said a rubric grade 75+ is usually the starting point for admission. I am 2 points shy of this, so now I'm even more worried LOL. I have a Poli Sci AS Degree so I also applied to Adelphi's BSN program so that I can graduate in 3 years with my BSN. So I'm debating if going to Suffolk is a good idea because I would only be graduating with my AS in Nursing. I hear it is hard to get jobs in New York if you don't have your BSN. Does anyone have any information if this claim is accurate? My end goal is a travel nurse.
