  1. I am currently a teacher looking to change careers and I am considering nursing. I’m located in Arizona, so attending the ASU accelerated bachelors program would be ideal. I already have 3 of the 10 prerequisites completed. Here’s where I am having trouble- which prerequisites to take while I’m still teaching, and which to take together. I am hoping to connect with some other nursing students who completed their prerequisites through Rio Salado. The online platform with multiple start dates seems ideal for my situation. I need to complete the following classes at Rio Salado: CHM 130/130LL, BIO 201, BIO 202, BIO 205, HCR 220, HCR 240, FON 241. My plate is already pretty full while I am teaching, but to complete my courses on time to apply for the 2023 January cohort, I need to complete some before the end of the school year. I am thinking of taking FON 241 (nutrition) and HCR 220 (intro to health professions). Unfortunately that would leave me with taking BIO 201, BIO 205, and CHM 130/130LL all at the same time. I’m wondering how doable this is, because it seems like 3 science classes all with labs might be too much. Which one could I manage the most while still working full time? Just looking for any insight or even other options. Thanks!
