Hi again! Has anyone who's applied for FAFSA received their financial aid package from the school yet? I called LUC financial aid a few times, and the last time I did (a couple of weeks ago) they said they hadn't packaged anyone from the ABSN program yet. I know they technically have until May, but definitely getting antsy to get all my ducks in a row and see what gaps I might need to fill with a private lender.

I doubt it’s too late at all! It’s rolling admissions from my understanding, and your advisor working with you sounds like a good sign they want you to apply for Fall. I read the fall 2021 cohort forum on this site and it seemed like people were applying all throughout Jan-Feb. My stats were undergrad B.S. in psych (3.7), had 4 prereqs to take and in progress on my last 2, A’s so far but about to take Chemistry so we’ll see. It seems like they consider the whole package (letters of rec, resume, essay) and there’s no TEAS test or other necessary which is nice!

I just wanted to share that I checked my portal tonight and found that my checklist had been changed to “admit checklist” and there was an updates link with my acceptance letter! So excited and hoping for good news for you and anyone else who joins this thread!

Mine still says “submitted” as well. I hope we get some indication soon that we’re under review! I’ve heard of peoples’ advisors calling them to say that their apps are under review so I hope maybe that happens for us too.

Hi there! Not Maywood, but I applied to the Downers Grove campus. :) I submitted right before Christmas and my letters of recommendation were both submitted as of Jan. 6. My advisor said 3-ish weeks, but it seems like that can vary. Did your advisor give a timeframe?
