  1. I took my NCLEX on December 11 and passed on my first try. I used UWorld and I think it’s worth the money. I used it for a little more than a month and got about 60% through the question bank. In my opinion, 1 year is far too long because by the time you take the NCLEX the content you learned in the beginning won’t be fresh in your mind. It is completely up to you how much time you think you need to prepare but I think you will be fine with a couple months. The thing with the NCLEX is, you cannot possibly study all the material that is tested and the more you try to study everything the more overwhelmed you become. My biggest tips would be to use UWorld and Mark Klimek, know the basics and don’t get caught up in details, do not stress if you don’t feel ready (I don’t think anyone ever feels ready), and go into the test believing in yourself and believing you will pass. I am not a good test take either so trust me when I say if I can do it so can you!!
