  1. I know that this is an old post, but I'm hoping someone from Southern California in the Orange County area will be able to offer some suggestions. I'm an RN-BSN student at WGU and I'm required to find an RN with a BSN or higher to shadow. The program now requires an affiliation agreement with WGU. It can't be inpatient and has to be in an outpatient clinic/health clinic focusing on restorative and preventative care. Is there anyone willing to allow me to shadow? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  2. Carrrieo - Thank you for your response. I will also share what I find out once I get a response. Best of luck to you as well :)
  3. Does anyone know of a facility in Southern California ideally in the Orange County area that already has an affiliation agreement with Western Governor's University (WGU)? I'm also willing to drive to Los Angeles. This is for the RN-BSN D224 which requires shadowing an RN, NP or an RN with a higher degree who works at a community/County Health Departments, Rehabilitation centers, Home-care nurses, Public health clinics, or Outpatient clinics. I'm waiting to hear back from a few education departments and human resources. I'm having some difficulty locating a facility that already has an affiliation agreement with WGU. I have heard that it can take months to establish affiliation and was hoping any former WGU graduates can offer some suggestions. Thank you in advance.
  4. Hi. I'm planning on starting the WGU RN-BSN in Jan 2022 or Feb 2022. Does anyone understand the changes to the field experience starting in Feb 2022? Thanks in advance
