Hey all starting this thread to have a place for SBU AGNP 2023 program. Information or whatever. Looks like the first thing up is orientation of April 21st!!

Hey no date persay. Just says orientation is April 21st, if you are declining please do so before that.

Hey so I got an email for orientation on April 21st. At the bottom it says if you are no longer interested to let them know so they can offer the spot to someone else. So who knows if someone will rescind by then.

Update got an email saying we have 10 days to accept or decline. If no answer by than, you would be disqualified. So maybe as it gets closer more emails will be sent out, but thats just my guess.

Sorry was driving to work when I got the email and messaged on here. Finally got a few mins. I got into primary care my, two coworkers also got emails for acute care around the same time. They also got into their program. I do not know what it means if you didn't hear back. Just letting you guys know we got emails. Good luck everyone

My friend who got into AGNP a year back had two weeks to accept and send in the required documents. Like official transcripts, NP insurance etc. Those who do not lose their seat. I remember in the interview they said to check junk mail because they have had cases of people missing the deadline for not checking their junk mail until it was too late.

didn't they tell you, sometime in February? Almost there

Interesting maybe they had a lot of interviews to go through this year. They also did it a month earlier for whatever reason. Guess we ll just have to wait. Good luck everyone

Im wondering when the last interview date was? Seems like it was later than usual mhmm. Hopefully hear something by next week

Interesting, were you given multiple days to choose from or just one? I was wondering why their wasnt a selection of days too choose from just time slots.

Hey just curious when you heard back for the interview? I did the day after the deadline.

I wonder what other dates they had for interviews. Since a few of us had it yesterday. I also know two more I work with who interviewed yesterday as well. Im going for Primary what about you guys who interviewed? As far as FNP I know someone who heard back and interviewed already. But don't know how many interview dates their are.

Hi interview went fine. I think I had strong answers. Five questions with four other applicants. Round robin so everyone gets to go first. One minute to answer. Hopefully hear back with some good news in a a few weeks.

Primary and acute care are at the same time. The email said both can be interviewing within the same group. I have no idea about FNP but I do know they get the most applicants.

I don't know if submission date matters. It's still odd to me that Interview dates were given so quick. I wouldnt be surprised if they went by GPA only to weed people out for interviews. Theres no way to have read essays and have chosen from the applicants so fast. Last year it took like two weeks to hear back and I was able to choose the day and time. This time around I was given the date and I could choose the time. Thats my opinion though I don't know anyone else who applied so cant say anything else about it.

Hey I think I put it in on Nov 4th. My friend heard back got the same date as me, he submitted it in like august though.

Hey yes I set up a time on the 29th. So Ill have some time to prep and everything.

I was given nov 29th IDK the time yet I have to see if I can switch at work to have the night before off. If not ill do the late interview.
