The wait was excruciating but I finally made it off the waitlist today ? To anyone reading this thread in the future, don't count yourself out!

I’m not really sure about specific stats, but I was told that all applicants are placed in the same pool and viewed the same. Whether you’re an in state transfer, current UNC student, OOS transfer, etc.

Don’t count yourself out yet. Your courses might have transferred in fine and that one chem course could have satisfied both requirements. I feel like they would have emailed you if you were missing something.

Did you do the transcript evaluation?

No problem. I’m sick of waiting too I'm really hoping we hear back by next week.. Also what are your stats if you don’t mind me asking? And did you do anything extra like volunteering or healthcare experience?

I don’t think so. Once you submit it you’re pretty much left in the dark until decisions come out. I had no idea about the decisions being sent through the mail, maybe that could explain the slight delay? Also I did two chem classes. General Chem 1 and 2

Did someone in the office say that? They told me it would be sent to our email.

Oh okay, I hope you’ll make it this time. I was feeling confident when I submitted my application but now I feel like my stats aren’t enough. I have CNA experience and the volunteer hours to hopefully balance my GPA out. It’s so hard to know what the perfect formula is to getting accepted since they claim it’s all holistic.

Same here. I thought we would have at least heard something by yesterday. Hopefully they send them out today I can’t wait another week. Is this your first time applying to the program?

That really sucks. Hopefully we both make it though! Next week can't come fast enough.
