Did anyone hear any information on the official start date for the Fall? I found info that the first week of August is orientation and then I'm assuming classes begin the last week of August. Does anyone know anything about the rest of August?

Do those people who get jobs while doing the DNP courses do new grad training programs? I am wondering if it would be a lot to handle training in a new graduate nursing program while taking the DNP courses.

I have a lot of friends with their BSN working as nurses now, and new graduate programs at the hospitals in hawaii are competitive from what I’ve seen. I think many hospitals prefer to hire internally first, which is why many started as aides or ward clerks first. I think most new grad programs at hospitals have a contract for 2 years.
