  1. Thanks for posting. I'm taking my test in June and I'm freaking out.
  2. Awesome. It’s a good program.
  3. Nobody is from Texas. I only saw this.
  4. I am also from Florida, but I know there are people in our program from all over. I don’t think it matters where you’re from and do your clinicals, but I can ask.
  5. Good luck. Happy almost birthday ? I Havnt even started looking. I will in the fall.
  6. So I had (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for something and I liked her a lot. My friend had (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and liked her too. I don’t know (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). I have (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) next semester for Health Assessment and now for Pharm. I actually forgot the name of the teacher I had for Patho. (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) is awesome! She’s very positive and spunky. I haven’t had a problem with any teachers and my coworker is in the same program and hasn’t had a problem either. The only thing is some grade faster than others, and you know how we all hate waiting on grades. Some grade harsher on APA then others. If they take points off it’s very few. What I’m learning about the teachers in the non-science class teachers want to see that you have knowledge of what they are teaching. They are not trying to tear apart every little mistake. If you follow the rubric you’ll get 100 or very high grade. They grade strictly by the rubric. As for the science teachers it’s pretty much tests and for Pharm Shadow Health which you’ll also have in Health Assessment. I can tell you if you post questions to them or email them they will respond quickly at least all of the teachers that I’ve had.
  7. Any questions just ask..
  8. There are text books. There is posts and discussion boards. The teachers answer anything you ask. It’s independent, but not on your own. My friend who is in Walden is very on her own. The tests so far are limited chapters and worded like boards not like science. I’m very happy so far at UWF.
  9. Thanks! I will.
  10. I only know one person who graduated here from Gainesville and she did not have a problem, but I don’t know anyone else. Sorry. I’ll be trying soon. I’m a little concerned, but fingers crossed.
  11. I work, take care of two kids, and run the house. I have not started clinical yet, but I really like UWF and find it very doable. Some assignments and more challenging than others, but it’s doable. I’m really enjoying UWF.
  12. Yea all online. You do not need to go in and you have to look for your own sites.
  13. Hello. I actually love the program. I’m glad this is the school I chose. The first semester is going good. I will say I stay quite busy, but it’s very doable. I work three days a week and shuffle my kids around. Clinicals should be starting next year I think fall 2023 if I’m right. If not it was Spring. I do need to locate clinical sites and I have not done that yet. I heard it could be difficult so I’m going to try my best. Reach out if you need anything
  14. @sharnisse I live in Gainesville about two hours from you. There is a facebook page but we can always do some sort of a chat or whatever I would think we can chat on the facebook page messenger.
  15. @kay yes I did.
