  1. I think you did what you could by following up a second time. That is very unprofessional of the assistant manager, to be honest. Maybe that’s not the best unit to work on as a new grad if communication is dropped like that? I don’t know, that’s kind of how I would look at it. It is a competitive new grad program but I also think candidates should be treated with professionalism from the management as well.
  2. My adult neuro application also went under review today.
  3. Mine is on Thursday. I am assuming yours is on Friday? I wish they gave us some sort of idea what to prepare for.
  4. Would anyone mind sharing what their interview was like? I am sure that it varies between units. Peds ED interviews are this week, and all we know is that it is a 20 minute individual interview with ED management (not panel). Any tips or insight would be appreciated!
  5. Yeah they called me last night after interviewing to give an offer. I received the official email this morning. I had already done two interviews with clinical trials and then they asked me to interview with hematology. So I guess it worked out well!
  6. Has anyone gotten an offer for ENT/Plastics? Asking for a friend.
  7. I just received an e-mail for an invitation to interview next week.
  8. Has anyone completed a second interview with the Hematology department? I was contacted for a last minute interview and would love to know what to expect. Thank you!
  9. I agree. Maybe it was a different experience for yesterday’s group. That definitely didn’t feel good as an interviewer. Probably the worst experience I have had with an interview panel.
  10. Yeah that was….something ?.
  11. I have a Peds ED interview on Wednesday. No e-mail yet.
  12. May I ask where you found out how many candidates the Peds ED is hiring?
  13. Clinical trials called me for a second interview earlier this afternoon.
  14. Same here!
  15. You never know, we were all nervous!
  16. Hey! No, nothing yet. Keep me posted if they contact you!
  17. I have 6 (I think?) applications under review; both pediatric and adult units. It doesn't seem like interviews will begin this week. It would be nice to have some more advanced notice if we are invited to interview next week so that people can make accommodations with work, etc.
  18. I am hoping that my cover letters were what they were looking for! All of the other new grad programs that I applied to were very specific in regard to what they wanted in cover letters. I still haven't received my ATT but I put that I would be testing in February.
  19. My Ped ED app is the only one under review. I applied to pediatric and adult units. We'll see....
  20. Perfect! Thanks for setting this up. I believe if you click on someone's profile you are able to send a private message or e-mail.
  21. How about Sunday? Anytime would work.
  22. Sure! If we were able to do it tomorrow or over the weekend I could probably join.
  23. Thank you for the tip! Were the panel interview questions behavioral based?
  24. I am still waiting for my ATT from the BON. I should be able to test by February. Does anyone know what the licensing deadline is? I don't recall seeing it anywhere.
  25. @bonuscat777I believe that those are step-down units. I was just offered an interview with the Clinical Trials Unit on Jan 26. Good luck to everyone!
