I don't have my license yet but I did do a nurse externship while in school.

I have my ADN and BSN almost complete because I was part of a dual enrollment program.

I put clinical trials as my top choice and received an invite this morning.

Wait they're still doing the ICCP program? I'm in second semester ICCP now.

If I recall correctly they said they weren’t looking at our grades/ points for approval for the ICCP program. It was based off our answers to the short answer questions and that’s why we were given those application numbers.

Where you at the orientation? From my understanding it’s going to be 4-5 days for lecture and lab.

There is clinical and preceptorship project the last semester.

The application cycle was for fall 2022 and Spring 2023. I think most of the people who are starting in fall are in the ICCP program.

So can someone clarify this for me. Is the ICCP program equivalent to the same amount of credits per semester we would have if we were doing a regular BSN program or is it more or less? Like what is the length of time for the SJSU BSN program normally?

Last year decisions came back around April 6. So hopefully soon!

Yes I think up to a certain alternate number.

They never confirmed the amount of points but I think I had around 75. Everyone is Fall 2022/Spring 2023 because they only do yearly applications. I’m not sure what delayed admission means but if you are an alternate you have a guaranteed seat for Fall 2023 and onward.

Wow the wording on the intent to enroll made it sound required. I actually did just enroll in a late start art program this Spring. That is frustrating.

It was a recommendation? On the intent to enroll form it said it was required. Does the application for the ICCP program say different? I didn’t receive one because I checked that I didn’t meet the requirements.

Yes! I saw that some previous graduates were able to make it into ICU new grad positions with their associates so I think we will definitely have a fighting chance landing a job out of school!

If makes it feel better I had to opt out of the program because I’m missing an art and humanities class. I figured I would apply to the sjsu RN to BSN bridge program and maybe hopefully be able to get reimbursement from a future employer!

What do you mean now no idea what to do? You don’t want to be in the program if you aren’t a part of ICCP program?

Did you get a confirmation email from ATI TEAS or Evergreen? because I got one from ATI instantly but EVC only sent me confirmation about my intent to enroll.

Hey I wasn’t sure about that either but it did say Evergreen valley college or email. I just sent it to the college but I haven’t receive a confirmation from them yet. Some people in my discord did the same thing. I was thinking about calling and asking about that and if I need to do the apply and registrar thing for EVC even if I was previously a student.

Yay! Are you going to enroll or are you still waiting on results from another program? I’m interested to know what the cut off was as well.
