I think Simmons in Boston takes nys residents. Yale has an online program that also takes nys students however you will need to do your clinicals either in CT, NJ, or PA. There are other schools I will try to recall which ones and let you know. University of Rochester also has a pmhnp program.

Just reading through this. Did they specifically tell you that you can't be accepted because of your residence or because you only have a NY RN license? A few schools I spoke to told me that as long as I can do clinicals out of ny (meaning be able to travel and get either a multi state license) would be fine. Good luck

Hey, I just got my acceptance letter on Friday afternoon. I'm still waiting to hear back from Suny Downstate to decide the tuition in Downstate is significantly less.
