  1. Anyone hear back about UofT admission awards/scholarships yet?
  2. Someone here mentioned that admissions told them the order is pretty much random. I’m wondering this too because I’m 3.9 and 4th quartile and I also haven’t heard back.
  3. Haven't heard back from Mac either, 3.94 sub-GPA and 4th quartile CASPer but decided on and accepted my offer at UofT.
  4. Hey I emailed them about this. They said: “We do not require official transcripts for academic history completed at the University of Toronto” so I don’t think we need to do anything.
  5. Congratulations! I believe it's realistic to commute to school from Brampton. The GO train and buses help a lot - it's what I plan to use since I'll also be commuting from Brampton ? I also know a few people in the program who commute from Mississauga etc. no problem.
  6. Congrats everyone! Were any of you who got in internal applicants?
  7. Thank you so much! I think my last 10 courses were around a 3.92.
  8. It seems like I got accepted to York! ? I checked MyFile and OUAC today which said admitted and gave me the option of accepting/declining, still have yet to receive the offer letter/email.
  9. I think the first round of acceptances for UofT are sent out first week of April
  10. Your best bet would be to call admissions! I emailed them about an issue I had several times to no avail, but the second I called they were able to clarify things for me asap ?
  11. Ahh I literally followed you not too long ago, I love your content it’s so inspiring keep it up!?
  12. Best of luck! You def have time, you’ll do great!
  13. Thank you! I took the Casper when I applied to Mac 2 years ago for practice, this time I studied for about 1-1.5 weeks off of a free Casper workshop hosted by my school and did lots of practice questions/mock tests on Youtube and other sites ? I’ve also been reading some ethics/philosophy for leisure which I think helped a little. I’d be happy to share the workshop I used with anyone who’s interested, message me!
  14. Casper results for the January 13th test date were sent out this morning! Landed in the 4th quartile ?
  15. Hey if you applied for UofT, there’s an optional part of the supplementary application where you can indicate any extenuating circumstances that would’ve negatively impacted your application. At the Join UofT portal it also says you can submit documentation for them to consider you if you haven’t received an offer of admission or something. I don’t believe averages are graded on OSMAS. I followed the UofT grading scale. Hope this helps.
  16. I believe it’s optional. It tells you to N/A some of the text boxes, indicating that you do not wish to be considered.
  17. Hey I’m not sure about UWO but for UofT, I heard the first round of acceptances went out starting on the first week of April last year.
  18. Being a fast typer definitely helps getting all your ideas down in the allotted time. I would say being able to think quickly on the spot matters just as much. In addition to the practice test on Altus, there are a bunch of mock tests and free prep resources you can find online to help study ?
  19. Yeah I get what you mean; the Casper is so different. I first took it when I was applying to Mac in my second year a couple years back and I feel like this time went better. Like you, I feel like I did the best I possibly could do we’ll just have to see hehe
