Hello! Congratulations! I started in January & love it so far. The professors are all so great & helpful. I also have not bought one book for any class & am doing very well, BUT, it is difficult. Everything you need to know is in the PowerPoints. The book is just supplemental if you need extra study material. We also have to have a subscription to Apex which is an anesthesia online study guide for the boards. It is helpful with questions and things. They will talk about that when classes begin. As far as studying goes, I find it helpful studying on my own & then getting into study groups to ask questions and talk about concepts. It's also helpful to go back over the PowerPoints once finished with a class to go over the information to better retain and understand everything. Good luck on your interview!
