  1. Thank you for the information! I'm sure someone will start the facebook group ☺️ I'll keep an eye out for it!
  2. I'm both excited and nervous! How about yourself? Looking forward to beginning for sure.
  3. Hi there! I am unsure. That's a great idea tho!
  4. @Ldouglas, have you completed the background check yet? I still need to do that. I didn't want to complete it too early because I hear they expire and will be completed annually, which sounds pretty standard for all grad schools.
  5. Likewise! Let me know if you hear anything. I did hear we won't have to travel to campus d/t Covid so all the intensives will be online and synchronous until further notice. We're also provided with insurance for clinicals, so that's useful. I'm assuming all that will be squared away once we're registered for courses, which should be in November.
  6. Congratulations to you, too! That's exciting. I was able to talk to one BSN-MSN student who is finishing up soon. He really enjoyed the program and said the only real hassle was securing a clinical preceptor. This seems to be a common theme with all nursing graduate programs because I've researched a handful of other programs. Overall, it seems like a promising track at a reputable institution so I'm looking forward to getting started! Happy to have found a former classmate! Are you also going for the BSN to DNP route?
  7. Hello! I was admitted to Loyola New Orleans' BSN-DNP program for Spring 2022. I've met one student currently finishing his MSN at this institution and has positive things to say about the program. The 2020 BSN-MSN board pass rate was 95% and BSN-DNP was 100% -- which was weight in my decision to enroll. Does anyone else have any advice or tips surrounding this particular program? I have secured a clinical preceptor -- so that's one less stressor. Thanks!
