  1. Schedule will be different for everyone, your schedule with also change throughout the semester, in March some classes end, your clinical also start. Clinical can be scheduled any day of the week even Saturdays. My biggest advice is take this time to enjoy yourself. Nursing school is definitely hard.If you really want to study, I would recommend studying Maslow's Hierarchy, electrolytes, cranial nerves, and med terminology. Also, learn your learning style. By that I mean do you learn better by visually seeing it, typing out your notes or writing them out. If you still need to take your PE classes take them during Summer if you can, or fall if you got in for Spring. I would also start saving up some money for the books/supplies. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  2. Hi everyone, congratulations to everyone that got accepted, I am 3 and a half weeks away from finishing my first semester at City, let me know if you have any questions regarding the program. I'm more than happy to help ?
  3. No I was wondering the same thing! Only found facebook groups for previous years! We should start one for Spring 23 ?
  4. I know the feeling, I applied to so many colleges and kept getting denied. It's super discouraging! you have great stats, have you tried looking into West Hills/ College of the Sequoias ? Try volunteering at Hospitals for some extra points. I received many denials before being accepted at Fresno City for Spring 2023. Having experience in health care helps so much. I would try to volunteer and if you can apply to as many schools as you can to boost your chances.
  5. Congrats I was also selected for Spring 2023! I would also like to know this LOL ?
  6. Congrats! I also got accepted for Spring23, I accepted my placement for Spring 2023, I know we have orientation in November but is there anything else we need to do for the time being? ?

  12. I applied last year to the generic ADN program and I got an email stating that I was qualified applicant but not chosen. I would probably call just to make sure not sure if they do the same with the LVN program ?
  13. I'm so anxious, I already want to know the lottery results, should we be hearing something next week or earlier??
