How often are the exam reviews and exams/simulations? Do you know which hospitals in Austin for clinicals and can do we have any say at all with clinical coach/site? I also have a question about the 2 week breaks bn semesters. Is it possible to schedule a vacation during these times or are we going to need to use that time to study/prep for the next semester. Thanks and any other tips for success are appreciated!

Does anyone know why they are stating decisions will go out throughout October when seems in years past they started going out mid September? Also curious if anyone has insight into the decision process and what factors they consider the most for acceptance?

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I'm planning to apply in the fall and just wondering if anyone can share other programs (Texas or remote) they are applying to and/or backup plans? Also anyone have young children and planning to start the program or know someone in the program with young children?

Anyone not accepted to the program tried calling the Tech number on your letter? I was sent to voicemail and left a message. Haven't heard back..

Thanks @Darius Evans I dug deeper and found this; "Will I be eligible for licensure in states other than Texas? Yes, however, application for licensure in other states can only be made after all MSN degree requirements are completed. For particular requirements per state contact the state Board of Nursing in the state of interest."

@Darius Evans I was reading this thread and had a question. Why won't you be able to practice anywhere but Texas going through the AE-MSN program? I'm just starting to look into this program so I'm curious. Thanks

I think UTA was mentioned, which other programs have you guys seen that are similar to TT's ABSN hybrid format? I almost applied to A&M but didn't want to take the HESI (guess I will now). I've also looked at Concordia and Baylor but they are much more expensive!

Surely they can't just leave us hanging right? My hopes are way down as well. After reading some warnings from current students earlier in this thread it seems like it's not the most organized so I guess that's to be expected.

Based on going down a rabbit hole with previous program applications boards, each site/cohort notifies at different times I think. On another note, for those that haven't heard back does your interview folder within the TT application system say awaiting? I did my background check so confused about that.

@Swashington73 which cohort are you applying to? I haven't heard anything either for Austin. I'm going to be a nervous wreck this week!
