Thanks for making this thread! Looking through Sierra's FAQ section, they seem like they're on top of things over there. They say we get the notification of acceptance within 4 weeks BUT they've been notifying people within 3 weeks (if not 2)....which is awesome. This is my first time applying to this college, in particular, and I'm nervous as all heck. Good luck to you too ?

I'm still waiting for my submission too @Julie Montgomery. I was tracking my packet via USPS and it said that it was left with an individual yesterday at 0923. I'm still waiting for SCC to update my eservices as well. Does anybody know if Sierra College has the same tracking system as Los Rios? (Stating if the packet was received or qualified)

I'm a tad bit confused about this claim. The claim on this forum was made 10 hours ago (at midnight). They send out notifications at midnight? If it wasn't at midnight....then yesterday. Maybe they're still changing status from submitted to qualified and the claimant/friend misinterpreted as application accepted. Either way, we're supposed to get an email soon. Good luck y'all.

Like I'd know. Many people have said already the program is qualifying people in chunks. So... it's taking time. Qualified does not equal acceptance.

@seaare Mine was Qualified on 11/05/2021 @ 18:39PM. I'm glad that you're officially Qualified! ? The waiting game continues. I guess I'll stop compulsively checking. I was really surprised that there was such a quick turnaround time while there were still people in the "Application Received" status. Since you're now Qualified, you're sitting in the pool with the rest of us until the end of the month. I was looking at previous forums and they received notice on 11/21.

@seaare I don't know how to do direct replies. Does your status say "Accepted for Enrollment?"or "Application Qualified?"

At this rate, they might as well skip the "Application Qualified/ Not Qualified" and start sending out Application Accepted notifications. ? I talked to a Sierra college counselor and she said that there has been an influx in nursing applicants everywhere due to the pandemic. During the start of the pandemic a lot of programs were haulted or paused. This caused a back up and increased the applicant pool. So I wouldn't be surprised if we had a few hundred for ARC. Remain hopeful....just don't expect.
