  1. got into my top choice so declining this offer! hope it opens up space for someone
  2. I'm probably going to print out a typical letter size being that I don't have any other size paper available haha
  3. Read through a previous year thread when their invited got sent out: "Spoke with the GA. Firstround of interviews and rejections were already sent out. Essentially, she said that if you haven't received a rejection then that's good. BUT there were over 700+ applicants so they can only send out so many invites. It's likely the 30 & 15 spots will easily fill up with first rounders. She said everyone will hear something by mid-Sept at the latest. Just keep the faith y'all, it'll all work out exactly how it's supposed to!”
  4. Haven't received anything yet. I wonder if they're going by alphabetical order or by date of submission
  5. following! 150 words was a struggle but it helped to stay concise
  6. hey this is awesome! Im applying for CRNA school now and have gotten some prompts to discuss my "clinical specialty area interested in pursuing". I was wondering what clinical specialty areas there are? When I shadowed, it seemed to be pretty universal (e.g. doing an endo case, then an OB case, then back to the OR for an ortho case)
  7. 3.9 is amazing! Congrats!! Thanks for sharing Did you retake o chem? This looks like my stats minus the 10yrs experience which is so awesome!
  8. hey y'all! firstly congrats to those that got admitted, and hope that those who didn't stay on the path to pursue this career! wanted to ask if y'all would be willing to share your stats
  9. Hey! I'm in the ICU and honestly the residency program is great. I'm not too sure how other hospitals run but they really help transition us onto the unit. So we have about 3 weeks of simulation labs and class before getting on the unit. Then there's ongoing conferences for continued learning on best practice. They organized us in groups so I'm in critical care. ER is their own group so I can't speak on their experience, but we see all kinds of crazy things and I've heard working the ER at BT is unmatched experience.
  10. What location was this? Interviews are next week I believe
