I'm not waiting around for Deltech, I applied to another program and blew their entrance exam out the water. I submitted my application to the school and I'm waiting for my acceptance letter! I didn't really want to start school in 2025, I'm in learning mode right now LOL. The program starts next month and is only like 10-12 months! I'm OK with not starting at Deltech ?

Congratulations!! ?? wow, that tells me what I have to look forward to. It sounds like your doing an amazing job, keep up the strong work! I am trynna figure out if I got into the nursing program but I have no idea if I did or how I’d find out. I’ll just call the school. When I figure out whether I got in or not will take me to my next step if I need to apply to Salem!

@Nae1213__ That’s not enough of a reason not to let someone into the nursing program, in my opinion. You’re score was high, you met the requirements, and there is a serious need for nurses right now. But this was apart of the plan, plan B!! And I am so thrilled for you, ohhh my gosh. And then when you’re finished with that program, you could do a bridge program to get your RN. Ohhh my goodness I’m so excited for you!! ???????

Hey girl! I decided not to even apply to the program this time because if I were to get in this fall, I wouldn’t be ready. I think it took two weeks for them to inform everyone else the last time (they didn’t even tell me anything, I had to call them ??♀️) so you’ll most likely find out by Monday. @Nae1213__

Yes, I was heated. I’m still gonna apply with the points that I have, and see but I’m still gonna retake the TEAS, just in case. I’m not sure how soon we’d learn if we got in, I think it takes like two weeks. And ohh my gosh, ME TOO! (for Salem College) They only look at your Math and English scores with your TEAS so if you did good on those parts, I think it’ll be easier to get accepted. I still gotta send my transcript in but anything just to get started before I start really doubting myself. We got this! ????

Hi! I just wanted to comment that I only have 12 points. I haven’t heard anything yet, and I applied to the Terry Campus. I’m really nervous about what’s to come. I’ve only seen people saying that they have either 13 or 14 points, but not 12. I got a B in A&P and a B in math. I am kinda nervous that it may not be enough points but I still applied anyway and I’ll know for sure whether I’ve gotten in when I get the email. I told myself that August and September would be months filled with congratulations and so far so good. I’m just waiting on this acceptance letter! My advisor told me it would be impossible to get into the nursing program with my grades and score on the TEAS (61.3% ??♀️) but I’m applying anyway and we’ll see what happens! Also, I am a Patient Care Tech II at Christiana Hospital, and I work on the Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit ?. The “II” part basically means I do administrative work on top of the CNA work. I get paid either $17.12 or $17.14 per hour (I’m not sure on the cents part LOL) and I do 12h shifts with 15% shift differential from 1500 to 1900. I will be changing my shift from 0700-1900 to 1100-2300 come October. This is just in case anyone is looking to work as a PCT while in school. I started off at $15 but you have to be CNA certified in order to work as a PCT or at least in nursing school, I believe. Everything happens for a reason and I pray everything works out for everyone! ???
