  1. Well I just reapplied on the 21st of march! I will post an update when I get my license. Right now I believe it should take 4-12 weeks to receive. :)
  2. Hey all, I am writing this to see if anyone has any experience/ advice to my situation. I graduated from a BSN program Jan 2023 in California. I talked to my school about a DUI I had in 2020 when I was applying to the boards and someone told me id be fine to apply without getting my record expunged. I received a letter in the mail in March that my application had been denied and to either appeal it or reapply in a year. I was still able to take the NCLEX and passed. I hired a lawyer and got my record expunged and will be reapplying to the boards this upcoming March, 2024. My lawyer said come march the board will not be able to deny me related to the DUI due to the expungement. I am wondering...how long it may take to get my license this march once I reapply, how to explain this gap to future employers (planning on being transparent/honest), and if there are any certs I can be working on in the meantime besides ACLS, NRP,PALS. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you
  3. Did they send it to your personal email or school email?
  4. I have not heard anything! I really hope we do soon. I have to tell another program if I want to attend by October 28?
  5. Okay yes I did, I think you guys are right. I'm just gonna wait to hear. It must be different for the nursing program! Good luck to you guys!!
  6. Hey guys! Has anyone heard back from the graduate division about being accepted into the school (not the nursing program)? I thought we were suppose to hear back within 30 days, so I'm wondering if I should contact them. I applied Sept 2
  7. Hey guys! I applied to Palomar back in August and haven't heard anything. Did you guys receive any sort of confirmation that they got your application? Sorry, I'm now seeing you guys didn't receive a confirmation either. Guess we just have to wait and see
  8. yeah I’ve been wondering the same thing! I know it is definitely possible. I don’t think it’s too difficult but I have no idea how that process goes. Good luck to you too!!
  9. Hey! No we don’t have to take the GRE or TEAS for this school. Here’s the link for the needed Pre reqs. https://nursing.hawaii.edu/graduate-entry-program-in-nursing/how-to-apply/ There’s basically only anatomy, physiology and microbio needed to apply, and then to enroll we need Anatomy & Physiology I with Lab Anatomy & Physiology II with Lab General Microbiology lecture Human Growth and Development course Applied Human Nutrition course Survey of Research Methods course I’m in California and am hoping to practice here once I am a nurse! I applied to the MS advanced population health program.
  10. Did you upload any letters of rec for the Graduate division application? I'm applying right now but not sure exactly what they need
  11. Hi! I'm planning on applying to this program. :) I'm now seeing it is rolling admissions! I wonder if its best to apply early. Good luck!!
