No personal statements either! Very simple application. It opens Sept. 15th. It sounds like they mainly care about prerequisite completion and grades. (Which is why I'm waiting until December to apply because I am in two science prerequisites this fall term, and I want to send my application with those classes completed.)

Hey! (Sorry if there's a weird blank comment...my computer was spazzing.) I might apply to SIUE in December, but only if I don't get accepted to Illinois State's ABSN. I should get a decision from ISU in November. ISU is my #1 and their application was due Sept. 1. I don't want to pay the application fee for SIUE unless I have to. Following this thread just in case ?

Hey! Good on you for carefully considering what you want to do before you jump in. I have a question for you: Did you finish your degree in history education, and/or have you ever held a job in education? I say this because if not, you might want to give that a try first before committing to nursing school. Just to make sure that bridge has been crossed. Maybe you could also volunteer or shadow at a hospital or community clinic to simultaneously get a glimpse at nursing.

Hello! I recently submitted my application for ISU's Mennonite College of Nursing ABSN program for Summer '22. The application deadline is September 1, so I wanted to start this thread to connect with other applicants. I think we are supposed to get our decisions in November, but you never know.
