  1. Thanks so much for checking with them and sharing the info here! I’m so anxious waiting… I hope it doesn’t actually take until June 22nd for scoresheets to be completed. Where in my.Chemeketa did you see that info?
  2. I believe there are 40 spots, but I don’t know how many applicants there are. Where in my.Chemeketa does it say they won’t be out until June 22nd? I haven’t received scores yet, but I was hoping they would be done by the end of this week. June 22 is so far away after already waiting since the end of March since taking the Kaplan exams!
  3. Wow! That’s a great score! Good work! I can’t imagine you not getting in with only 1 point missing! Yeah, the email they sent also said late April to early May for scoresheets. hopefully it’s closer to late April and we only have to wait a month.
  4. Hello! Who else took the Kaplan test this week? I took mine yesterday. I am feeling hopeful and am at 335/340 points. I didn’t have any of the healthcare certifications and I am really hoping I still have a chance at getting in missing 5 points. How is everyone feeling?
  5. Awesome! Thanks so much for your detailed feedback!
  6. I don’t have much to offer, but am in the same boat as you with my concern about my lack of healthcare experience. I’ve been a massage therapist for 8 years, but even though I did insurance billing and charted notes, that’s not always seen as healthcare. I am just starting a weekly volunteer shift at the hospital and hope that that will help set me apart even though I’ll only be 3 months in with that experience. If you’re working 4 days a week, volunteering, AND going through some personal life stuff, I think it may be a good idea to wait on Microbiology. I’m taking it fall term, but everyone I’ve talked to says it’s a pretty intense load. It’s good to have all of your prerequisites done, but you can have 1 in progress. I’d rather have 1 class in progress rather than getting a lower grade and having them all complete.
  7. Hi @fitlotus! I haven’t posted enough yet to get private messaging on here. I’m wondering you experience since you’re one of the classes to experience Concordia Portland under the new ownership. Are you happy with the program? Do you feel like they are preparing you well for the NCLEX? How are your teachers?
