    The ER's in my area typically hire new grads. But I would say a year in med Surg will be great experience. I'm sure getting your ACLS couldn't hurt.

  2. I failed the NCLEX

    I found out today I failed the NCLEX, I didn't study properly. I am ensuring I use my time wisely this time around but I am feeling so down. I am a GN at work and I will be demoted to a tech and I'm so worried about people being rude to me or judging me. (That's an issue in our ER) I'm trying so hard just to keep my head up and use this as a learning experience. Its just so hard and I feel like I let everyone down
