  1. Hi! Anyone here apply for the new grad positions at Southern California Hospital (Culver City) recently, or know of anyone that has started out as a new grad there?
  2. Hi, curious to see if anyone else here has applied for Cottage Health's new grad residency starting in Jan 2024?
  3. Did anyone here apply for the in-person ABSN program, not the online one?
  4. Nope, mine is still there and still looks the same! They usually release decisions Tuesday, right?
  5. Right now I’m still waiting to hear back from NYU’s program, but if I do commit to QU, I’ll probably find an apartment off campus!
  6. What is the Albert portal? I’ve just been checking my application using the regular NYU undergrad portal.
  7. I think a FB group would be great! Is anyone here from out of state? I would be coming from the west coast and am a little nervous about moving across the country!
  8. Hi! I’ve decided to not accept the offer for this program, I got into a couple other schools that were higher up on my list. Good luck to you!
  9. Anyone apply/accepted into this accelerated program for Fall 2022? I just got accepted and I'm trying to decide between this school and a couple others. I would also appreciate the opinions of any current or past graduates from this program!
  10. Is anyone else still waiting for transcripts to be processed? I have one “missing” but an admissions counselor emailed me back saying it’s just in line to be processed. Do you guys think this means my application won’t be considered for the fall cohort?
  11. @ms4 I just received my acceptance a few days ago! My wait time was about a month after all my transcripts were processed
  12. @JennyLB Hi! How long did it take for you to hear back? My application portal says mine is under review and I'm so nervous!
  13. I recently got accepted into Radford University's accelerated BSN program for fall 2022. I researched the school and am strongly considering it. I was wondering if there are any grads from this program that can provide some insight on their experience, especially in the past two years? Any pro and cons? Any extra information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  14. Hey, I'm from California too! I heard back in about a month. I submitted some extra documents so that may be why mine took longer. Their admissions team is very responsive so definitely reach out to them with any questions!
  15. Hi! I am applying to this program. Currently writing my essay and am aiming to submit sometime this week.
  16. Hi! I don't know if anyone from this thread is still active, but I was recently accepted into this program for Fall 2022! I am wondering if anyone is willing to share their experience so far- how the program is going, pros/cons, etc..any info would be appreciated!
  17. I just got accepted today!! I'm still applying to a few other schools but I'm so happy since this is my first acceptance ?
  18. Hi guys! I recently applied to the fall 2022 program and am nervously waiting for my decision! I am curious, how long did you guys wait until you heard back?
  19. Hi, I am new here and was hoping to get some advice. I recently decided to pursue nursing and am planning on applying to ABSN programs for Fall 2022. Unfortunately I have a low undergraduate GPA of 2.47 (I know this is extremely subpar, I failed a class and had little dedication to school). After taking several courses at a CC and receiving A's in all of them, it is still a 2.6. I am currently taking my prerequisites and am aiming to get A's in all of them so that I can keep improving my GPA. I've accepted that I can't do anything about my poor academic history other than work hard to keep improving it now and show that I've changed. I know that I shouldn't even bother applying to the "good"/top ABSN programs, but does anyone know of programs that look at applications holistically and consider improvement in grades over time? Or if you had a similar experience and was accepted? I sometimes feel really discouraged thinking about my stats compared to others, but I really don't want my undergraduate experience to keep me from even trying!
