  1. I haven’t been able to get a job with my background check so far maybe you’ll have better luck
  2. Be honest, I have had at least 6 spotless interviews and offers over the past 6 months with excellent offers until they get my background check and recind
  3. SDI is not available here in NC just for addiction
  4. Do I need an attorney to request a modified alternative program? I have already completed 6 months of inpatient treatment and 6 months of outpatient tratment almost 2 years after my 2nd DWI and the board wants me to do IOP 3 hours three days a week plus AA meetings in person threee days a week I cant even find a nursing job and the attorney wants 3000 just for the admin/settlement hearing!!
  5. The board can call you in any time in the next three to five years for a drug screen and still revoke your license for anything from benadryl use to kambucha or kratom. very punitive be prepared
  6. I am considering just submitting my license for revocation please help
  7. I am considering the alternative program 2 years after my convictions the board has finally decided to offer me the AP program but I understan it is expensive and time consumming. I don't plan to work any more than 3-5 years before retiring and I don't know if I want to pay for and jump through all these hoops. I' 60 years old and had an impeccable record up until 2 years ago is it worth it? also cannot find a job, interviews go well offers come in and then my background check disqualifies me SO DISCOURAGED!
