Application number 5 Email subject: Butte College RN Lottery Results - Alternates Then it goes to list numbers 1 through 12 by student ID in the order of alternates (# of alternates is different every lottery so I've been told) And then has multiple steps to complete as an alternate. You have to accept the alternate spot by calling or emailing back (This is not a guarantee to get in this fall just confirming that if they have open spots that you want it if it gets down to your number just in case people who got in defer or decline) The other steps are to re-apply to butte if you have not attended in the last semester, schedule a counseling appointment to complete your education plan, submit fasfa for 2025/26, declare your program in your butte account and then order and complete the background check/tox screen that is attached in the email all with the deadline of May. Doing all of those things listed in the email says that it guarantees that if you do not get in fall 25 you are guaranteed a spot Spring 2026 Hope that helps :) All of my other application emails were exactly like yours mentioned. And I know that getting accepted into the program with an actual spot comes with a congratulations statement.

Also not accepted, not shocked but still sucks. I just hope that it doesn't take until 2026 to get in. I'm limited to Butte or Chico which is point system I'd have to have a 95 or higher TEAS to have 92/100 points and even then people don't get into Chico for that either. Basically Butte is a guarantee just years of waiting. Best of luck to you all next go around ?

Hey all, I am here to join the waiting game ? First time applicant, I already knew that the wait would be years so I keep trying to not impatiently check my email especially because the odds are almost 0 to get in on the first try but I can't help it! Still haven't heard anything but I was notified I am included in the lottery the beginning of this month.

Good luck getting into an ADN program! ? which are you applying at? That’s definitely at least a start and if you can get you ADN and do well I’m sure you’ll have no problem at all doing a program to get your BSN after.

Wow I’m sorry! ? They didn’t give you a reason? Maybe the date you were going for was full? How did you do on the HESI? I took it twice, first time I bombed the science section for Chemistry like actually failed it and everything else was fine I still passed it and my score wasn’t bad and then I took it a second time and brought my sciences up a lot and everything else stayed the same and the score they gave me didn’t change at all. Weird but I guess they look at your math and English to give you their score. I am trying to get in for January 2022 but I don’t find out until August. I have been trying not to even think about it because the days are going by so slow waiting for an answer. ? Are you going to try any of their other campuses? Definitely don’t give up. I’m not sure how many times you can apply or transfer your package but have you thought about the one in Arizona or the new campus down in SoCal?

Thank you for responding! ? I’m so sorry to hear that! Did you try to transfer to any other campus? I heard that if you get in at another campus you only have to do one session before you can request transfer and you would have a good chance at transferring to the campus you want. I actually have a coworker who did that. Also I think in the beginning it wouldn’t be so bad a lot of people on here that don’t get into Sacramento seem to all be getting in somewhere else. But I recommend you at least try for it. And best of luck to you!. I have my fingers crossed, I was told I won’t know until Aug 9 ? sooo far away I can’t help my anxiety I just wanna know now. I also have another question since that isn’t an indicator did you also get access to canvas for chamberlain or have anything on it if you did. There’s two on mine a success seminar for prelicensure and then an online studies that success course. And I was hoping maybe those were an indicator maybe but I haven’t heard of anyone having anything like that. Or maybe it’s something every applicant gets? I just wanna know ?

Hey everyone, Not sure if anyone still replies on this one but I applied at Sacramento for spring2022 and I was wondering since I’ve been lurking on here has anyone ever gotten a financial aid award package from Chamberlain and not been accepted or know someone who got the award letter and didn’t get in. I got my financial aid award package and am just waiting now to hear if I got in or not and the anticipation is killing me. After reading a lot of posts on here it looks promising that it’s a good indicator of being accepted but I’m just curious! ? thanks for any insight.
