  1. Thank you so much for response. Do you use ATI for testing or Kaplan? I am only familiar with ATI but a lot of people like Kaplan.
  2. Thank you for your response. I know they have their struggles but what I am experiencing is I know not normal. I was accepted to Grossmont but went with city. I’m reapply in June. It’s must more helpful and organized I know. How are you liking Kaplan for your testing?
  3. Hello, I know this thread is old. I wanted to see who got accepted to Grossmont if they are having a good experience. I was accepted to City and in my first semester and I am miserable. Any feedback would be great!
  4. Hi, I know this thread is old but it’s the only thing I can find about people getting accepted to Miracosta. I just wanted your feedback on your experience?? I have been applying but still not luck. I am in my first semester at City and I hate it. It’s terrible. Going to try again at other places. I know a professor Estrella there is amazing. Any feedback would be great. I know anywhere you go it’s challenging.
  5. Thank you! Your going to be great. Everything happens for a reason.
  6. I didn’t get in:-(. First time applying. 3.77gpa. 93.7 TEAS. Ugh!
  7. Does anyone get in on their first attempt? Doesn’t feel like it:-(.
  8. Thanks! It’s OK. I’m glad it’s over and I did the best I could. I was scrambling emailing the department because I was in a waiting for 22mins. So I was occupied doing that because I thought something was wrong and then bam she was on the screen. Asking really stuff questions that relate to someone already working in healthcare and have had experiences. I have not.
  9. Ugh! I was expecting such different questions. More about myself, my life experience. What would make a great nurse etc! Nothing like that. I have been on interview panels and it was like a job. I’m disappointed.
  10. The interview felt more like an interview for an actual nursing job, not nursing school.
  11. I just finished! That was a hard interview I thought. Give examples of diversity in the workplace. Give an example of communication in the workplace. Ugh. It’s done.
  12. It just says please wait! Host will let you in. cohort 68 day 2 zoom 3 This is insane! 17mins in the waiting room.
  13. Interview was at 10am….still in the waiting room. It’s been 8mins
  14. I understand you need your BSN that’s why I mentioned you can get it online and you can still get even if you go to the community colleges for ADN. It’s just takes longer. There are people that hire with ADN though.
  15. Hello, I applied to all of the community colleges. I was accepted to SD City Nursing. I’m still waiting on the others. Of course, I have my interview with National as well. Honestly, I have connected with several people that just graduated from City and they passed the NCLEX. One enrolled at WGU for their RN to BSN and the other went to Capella. So no one cares what school you went to. I used to be obsessed with getting into National but there are other options. They may take longer but it’s cheaper and if your not in a hurry they are all good options.
  16. I have an interview!! Wow! I’m so excited. Sept 15th @10am. Let’s go!!
  17. I can relate to the 10 year process. I am in the same situation. Still nothing. Maybe a lot of people that got emailed today were second attempts.
  18. OMG!! That’s amazing! Congratulations! Did they call you? Is this your first or second time?
