I would delete it now & instead get close friends cell numbers. I looked up the FB page & rcc is associated in every way.

Be careful with facebook groups. If rcc discovers that their students have made any forms of group chats anyone participating will get kicked out of the program. You are only allowed to communicate through a discussion board on canvas.

My personal opinion, RCC faculty is great if you give them a chance & aren’t afraid to open up to them. They give great advice & are truly there for their students. If you don’t pass a semester they support you in any way possible & will help you become an RN one way or another. As for students, if you put yourself out there & get to know the other students you will have a lot of great support.

You have to go to your provide or contact rcc health services & they will fill out the documents for you. There’s a vaccination packet by rcc that has to be filled out.

RCC never says & that’s the frustrating part LOL

When you are an alternate you are not guaranteed a spot but you have to start on complio & all requirements because people do get accepted into other programs & deny RCC’s acceptance. Which then opens up room for those on the alternate list.

I would say 80 points & higher your definitely guaranteed a spot. Don’t even sweat it(:

You can definitely apply for fall(: there are no rules about applying to the fall semester while you wait to hear if you get accepted to the Spring semester.

Was this email sent to student who took the test with RCC or every student that applied ? I’m asking because I was invited but told them I didn’t want my seat because I was using my TEAS 6 score. I didn’t receive the email you mention.

When I applied for the first time at rcc I had 69 points & didn’t even get on the alternate list. I retook a science & general ED classes to boost my chances & that definitely helped(:

If you have 49 points & got a 70.3% on the tease you’re at 64 points. Unfortunately, you have to be more competitive. I had a 69 points when I first applied & got denied. So I retook general ED classes & a science score to boost my chances.

There really isn’t a point cut off because it varies every semester depending on the students applying. You’re allowed to have a class in progress during the fall term & be able to apple for fall23. If you are applying for spring23 I think you’re only allowed to have a class in progress summer22. The fall grade won’t be posted before they make spring23 decisions.

It’s just for CEP. If you applied to both but didn’t take those 2 classes then automatically your application gets pulled out of the CEP bunch & are only qualified for traditional so you still have a chance(:

@TomCP is correct & that is because CEP has to do with rcc & a Cal state. Cal states require the students to also take a class of political sci & history.

The best way is to ask the nursing advisors during their office hours or email.

I believe they will accept the grade but they won’t send out a TEAS invitation unless someone denies their TEAS spot before next Thursday & your grade is posted before then.

You have a chance, you just have to take the TEAS on your own. This invite is for students who had a good GPA in the sciences. They usually invite students with 2 A’s & 1 B in the science or 3 A’s.

The form is submitted once you hit submit & get the information on your screen with deadlines for the TEAS exam.
