  1. Hi Everyone- I had a c-section with my 5 y.o. and am 3 months pregnant with my second child. I would really like to try a VBAC, but am unsure where to look for a pro-VBAC consultant/midwife. I had controlled gestational diabetes during my 1st pregnancy, (kept it in check with diet). Because of my age (37) and the possibility of having gestational diabetes again, it seems like the only place that has private care I will be able to deliver is the Portland. Also, everyone tells me that I would have to go with an obstetrician. Does anyone know of a good pro-VBAC consultant/midwife practice? Any advice for someone trying a VBAC? I am really interested to get feedback from people who have been there/done that, either as practitioners or as women delivering. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
