  1. For me my "provisional acceptance" was just paying the deposit and accepting the offer.
  2. @08262020 forgot to mention, fall applications were due in February or late January! But Spring should be opening soon! Literally just need grades and TEAS.
  3. @08262020 yes! It’s just a BSN program not ABSN. You can apply as a Second Degree Bachelors student! I was offered admission there and just accepted it yesterday. Once we’re in we get to choose a semester / trimester path. The trimester is about the same amount of time as CSULA, maybe 3 months longer, since Long Beach starts in the fall.
  4. has anyone accepted their admissions? I accepted mine! I guess it has to update in the system because there's like nothing else we can do?
  5. Thank you all! @TalTal sure I don't mind, my first degree was a 3.978gpa, 4.0 all nursing pre-requisites, TEAS overall was 88.7%, reading was 89.4%. I did the calculation but it was something like 9.55 points? I'm honestly shocked that I got it, everyone here had like 90+ TEAS, but when I did the interview, I felt that I was "in" by the time they interviewed me. I had probably a joke of a question compared to the other applicants! If they interviewed me with those questions, I for sure would've choked. Those other people who were interviewed did an amazing job though! Credits to them
  6. anyone have an update? All I know is that I was offered admission to CSULB's program, but CSULA is literally by my house.
  7. I'm a second degree applicant and just checked my self service portal and it says I've been offered "provisional" admission! @TalTal I think its about the same as everyone else, but I feel like its a bit more tough since at long beach we're in the same cohort with prenursing and transfers. At other programs like CSULA / CSUF, there are strictly ABSN and BSN cohorts if that makes sense
  8. @Pezito were you told to apply to the college? or are you just waiting for an interview invite? For those of you who were told to apply through calstateapply, did you receive an interview invite? Or are we just waiting at this point too?
  9. I feel like those that were told to apply to the school are accepted? IDK… I’m just gonna assume that, but still kinda weird. Other schools like Long Beach and fullerton have both gotten back to me but they start in the fall. Just very weird this application cycle with csula.
  10. Yep, still waiting. A friend on campus told me she saw the director of nursing showing 4 people from the ABSN program around today? Seems like they were doing the interview. But I was told to apply through cal state apply so I might be in a different situation.
  11. Looks like this year is very weird. Normally we’re told to apply AFTER the interview, but I guess it’s completely different this year? When I got the email to send the transcripts, I spoke to admissions and they were like just send them. Even though I explained to them that our application had the extra set for them, they still said to send it otherwise my application wouldn’t be processed. ????????
  12. @yums @sims4 did any of you get an update after applying through cal state apply? They told me to send in transcripts which I did again and now I’m just waiting…. Is anyone else just waiting too? Seems like the whole program like disappeared all of a sudden without any updates ??
  13. Hello! I was just wondering if anyone got an invitation to apply to CSULA but not an invitation for an interview? I was invited to apply today (feb 7th), but not given an interview date. I sent in my application January 6th and received a confirmation February 1st.
