  1. I received my license in September 22. My charges were 18 years prior to my application for licensure. I hired an attorney because I was not sure of the process and did not want to take any chances. My license was approved after submitting my documents and letter of explanation. My application did not require an additional review by GBON. I did have someone in my cohort that was not honest in their initial application and they did have to be reviewed by the board. I think that given the length of time since your charge and the charge itself, you will be fine. It is a stressful situation and very little information is available for comfort.
  2. @nursetobe93 congratulations! Keep us updated !
  3. Oh so it is only one campus each semester ? That is how it was in the past l. I think it is like that with the RN programs also . I finished my prerequisites in 2019 and did not start my program until 2021. I can not imagine going through this process with another group of people . Maybe Cowetta Spring “23” is the group that you are meant to be with . Use this extra time to get all of your affairs in order . Good luck on the process !
  4. Between 8a-8:30a. We stay later than the other group as well . If we get out at 3:30p then we are doing good ?.
  5. @nursetobe93 our cohort could only apply to one campus as well. I am not at the WACO campus but our schedules are pretty similar . Monday-Thursday has to be committed for sure . 2 days for lecture and 2 days for clinical . The first half of the first semester we did 2 days of lecture and 2 days in the simulation lab on campus. Good luck ! Keep us posted …
  6. Hi ladies. I am just checking in on everyone. We are so close to the finish line. How are things?
  7. @Blessed25 I think you should create it and just share the link .
  8. Congrats Ladies . I got in as well !! Coweta Campus ! I had a feeling that today was going to be the day ! @TStory8403 thank you for staying on top of things . I was not going to check my email anymore today ???...
  9. @TStory8403 I had in my mind that today would be the day ?. Banner web is still not showing up on my OKTA app nor will it let me login from the link on WGT site .
  10. @TStory8403 ??? I asked if we would get our status before the 8th . She pretty much echoed what was already stated . The whole they will inform us no later than July 8th thing(never mind our anxiety).
  11. I am just realizing that the text says reply with yes or no. I was so extra in my response ???
  12. @cbailey1215 that text message just got me too ??? Good luck . I
  13. I get excited when I see you all post in this forum???. I always think that it is someone telling us to check our emails for our status. Any day now !
  14. Same precisely, although I may take a leave from my job. I really wish WGT did first choice, second choice, third choice like some of the other schools with multiple campus . I wonder what impact , if any, did the pandemic have on the competitive process .
  15. I wonder how many applicants each campus has . Did you all just apply to the Campus closest to you ?
  16. Awesome . Which campus ?
  17. I wish they would let us know sooner rather than later. I need to know ASAP so that I can prepare for school(which will require some major life changes) , or map out my next plans for getting into a nursing school. The wait is slowing my planning down ...
  18. @odyssey98 you will get it soon. They are working on everyone individually so it may take a couple of days . In the meantime just use the formula to have an idea of what your score is . I know that the wait is annoying but don’t worry you will get the email soon☺️. @TStory8403 I have been searching for data on average scores but no luck . From what I have gathered, your scores are competitive!
  19. I only took the TEAS once as well . Mind you, I finished my prerequisites two years ago smh. I should have take it again . I am really regretting that decision since only 20 people are selected . I thought for sure that they would at least have 28 seats. I am going to apply for some Spring programs if I do not get into this one . I want to avoid schools that require different test, but I may consider taking some of the other test . Athens has an evening program that I may apply to as well if I do not get into this one .
  20. It is just a generic text . It was a month after I applied that I received it .
  21. Yes I did . Way back in 2019 . I applied for the program in early April though . I am sure you all will just receive your scores .
  22. No. I applied in early April , and received the message about a month later . You will more than likely just receive your CS scores via email . And trust, you will be at the top of the list with those stats !
