  1. I missed a lab in my physical assessment class at the end of the quarter because my phone died while I was sleeping, I woke up to an email stating that I missed a required lab and that she wasn’t sure how I would make it up because it was the last day of lab. She also informed me that I was at risk for getting a grade of “Incomplete”, which would result in me having to repeat the quarter. I immediately sent her an email pleading my case and reminded her that I had worked really hard and never missed a class before.In the end I believe my good track record helped me ,I had A’s in both classes and no other missed days .she allowed me to come in on an off day an complete my lab work with another student .In the end it all comes down to the instructor and Dean of nursing’s decision.
