I got a call this morning and was just offered a position in the pediatric emergency center!! I still can’t believe it!!

How’d your interview go today?!? ?

I did attend the Thursday information session! It sounded like it’s an awesome residency program which makes me excited! Keeping my fingers crossed for you?? That’s awesome that you are interested in NICU because they are hiring so many people in that department! You have really good odds! It’s crazy they are only hiring one person for the Emergency Center... such a bummer! Hope your interviews go well and that we hear back good news within the next couple weeks!!:)

Good luck! You got this! The questions were mostly talking about yourself again and why you are interested in their unit! I don’t know anybody in the program, but a friend of mine made it to interviews last year and didn’t get a job offer which makes me nervous! To be completely honest, I would take any job at this hospital! I just want to work with pediatrics! But I really liked the hiring managers for PEDS ER, PICU, and PEDS Medicine! What is your top choice?

Awesome! I chose panels 1, 2, and 3! I had all three of my interviews on Friday! The interviewers were SO nice, and it just felt like casual conversation! They were so friendly and welcoming, and they just genuinely wanted to get to know you and your interests! Good luck with your interviews! I am from Tampa, FL! Has anyone heard any interview tips from past cohorts, how many people they accept, the competitiveness, etc.? Also, which panels are you interested in? Excited for the interview process...
